108 in 2022

Documenting everything I cooked in 2022 (okay, starting in March) was one of the most joy-filled projects I accidentally said yes to.

I have some goals and I have some aspirations, but none more important than making practical and delicious food as many times a week as possible. Home cooking has been a quiet luxury in my life and can't imagine a better hobby. Feels like it's cheating to even call it that.

Most notably this year, I learned to get along with my food processor instead of silently resenting its price, I decided that complicated-seeming recipes just couldn't be that hard, and I re-became an evangelical, but this time for making your own chicken stock.

Here's to another year of cooking in 2023.
